Scholarships

DAAD-scholarship STIBET I

THWS students who received their entry qualification in a country other than Germany can additionally apply for a DAAD-scholarship STIBET I. They are funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and the Federal Foreign Office. We have compiled some important information on the STIBET I scholarships as well as the application form (German only).

Deutschlandstipendien

THWS is involved in awarding of the Deutschlandstipendium study grants. Talented students who have performed (or are expected to perform) highly in their studies or profession are eligible for funding. For more information, please see www.deutschlandstipendium.de

BAföG

BAföG is a state-funded support scheme for students. One half is a grant, the other an interest-free loan. In total you need to repay only 50% of the resulting sum after graduation. In principle, all students of German nationality have a legal right to BAföG funding. But students from abroad can also receive educational grants, under certain conditions – so find out! The BAföG office is located in the Student Union at Würzburg. For details on the award criteria and applications you can go to the website of the Student Union:www.studentenwerk-wuerzburg.de
