Terminal eINs starts its second round

The second season of the podcast “terminal eINs” will start in October.

In this season we put our focus on different destinations, which we will explore together with our country experts.

Same Podcast, new season: The Podcast “terminal eINS” starts into its second season. Right on time at the start of the winter semester, Katharina and Stefanie once again have the goal of “traveling” to as many countries as possible. In this season they will always have experts on board that will share their experiences from the respective countries.

Above all, the team owes this innovation to the students of the THWS, who participated in a survey in early summer. This revealed that the listeners would particularly like to hear information about cultural differences, do's and don'ts and exciting and funny anecdotes from the interview partners. This semester, in addition to the talks and useful links there will also be fact sheets with information about partner universities, funding opportunities and typical facts about the respective countries in every episode.

Kick-off with exciting guests

In our season opener you will hear from Prof. Dr. Achim Förster. He is a professor of law in social work and international representative at the faculty of applied social sciences at the THWS and spent a long time abroad during his studies. He was drawn to the US, Indianapolis to be exact, where he ended up staying an entire year. In the first season he will talk about his experiences and about pub acquaintances that turned into lifelong friendships.

Furthermore, in our second season we will travel to Japan, Estonia, Mexico, and Jordan. The listeners of “terminal eINs” will get helpful tips, learn which do’s and don’ts apply in other cultures and what needs to be considered when staying abroad.

Exciting topics from season 1

The international office at the THWS is informing students about topics concerning the topic of “internationalisation” in their podcast “terminal eINs” already since April 2021. Thereby, the hosts Katharina and Stefanie offer their listeners important information and news of the THWS every two weeks and always have exciting experts on board.
