Delegation visit from the USA from Auburn University

Long time no see: After two years without personal meetings due to the Corona Pandemic, finally a physical exchange between FHWS and Auburn University could take place again. From 21 until 24 June, an eight-headed delegation traveled from the USA to Würzburg and Schweinfurt in order to discuss the expansion of the already close cooperation between our two universities.

FHWS and Auburn University have had a steadily developing cooperation for already six years, making the American university in the state of Alabama one of our most important strategic partner institutions. The delegation visit aimed at expanding the with several faculties already existing partnerships and exchange programmes. Furthermore, the possibility of setting up a joint PhD programme as well as the topics of collaboration in the field of research and guest professorships were discussed. During the delegation visit, many ideas have been developed, which will drive forward the further development of the strategic partnership between FHWS and Auburn University.
