Announcement Europe Diaries

[Translate to Englisch:] Symbolbild Europa

Are you going to discover one of our European partner universities for one or two semesters via the Erasmus+ programme and get to know Europe from a completely new perspective?

The FHWS International Office (Hochschulservice Internationales) has an interesting programme for you:

“Ich bin dann mal weg – my FHWS Europe Diary“

What will I profit from the programme?

In addition to your Erasmus+ funding, you can receive a scholarship of 100 Euro per month. The grant will be paid in two parts – quite similar to the Erasmus+ grant: once in the middle of your stay abroad and once after your return.

What do I have to do?

Every other week, you will report on your experiences during your semester abroad on a DIN-A4 page. Which extraordinary things have you experienced? Especially in times of Corona? What interesting habits had your local fellow students or the residents of the city where you study? What are the leisure activities and how is the nightlife for Erasmus+ students? There are a lot of things you can tell us about (even when being abroad virtually)! And there are at least a lot of ways to write about your stay abroad: Funny anecdotal, seriously descriptive...

How can I take part in the programme “Ich bin dann mal weg – my FHWS Europe Diary“?

Please send your first diary entry about the topic “It’s going to start soon!” to the FHWS International Office by 15.02.2022 latest.

>> Mail to: kathrin.sammetinger[at]fhws.de / Subject: „Application Europe Diary SoSe 2022“ <<

The FHWS International Office will award a prize to the best entry and the author will be chosen as the official FHWS European Diary writer for the semester.

What happens to my entries in the international diary?

Your reports will be edited and published during your stay abroad on the homepage of the FHWS International Office in the form of a separate column.
