Registration for the UNINOVIS International Conference and the workshop “The Digital Platforms of Young University Alliances (DiPYUA)” is now open!

Registration for the UNINOVIS International Conference 2026, January 26-27, 2026, in Málaga (Spain) and the accompanying DiPYUA Satellite Workshop is now open. The conference brings together experts from research, innovation, and industry to discuss current developments in applied data science in higher education and industry, strengthen cooperation between universities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and raise the profile of scientific expertise within the UNINOVIS alliance and beyond.

Focus Topics of the conference: 

Research Ecosystems
Contributions exploring collaborative frameworks such as quadruple helix models, citizen science, and academia-industry-public partnerships.

Infrastructure for Applied Data Science
Analysis or implementation of data infrastructures (collection, processing, visualization), including institutional, technical, or ethical dimensions.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Research or documented experiences demonstrating the translation of academic data science into entrepreneurial or socio-economic impact.

 

DiPYUA Satellite Workshop

The accompanying DiPYUA Satellite Workshop is aimed at young European university alliances and highlights the requirements and best practices of digital platforms for such alliances. The two EUA platforms Agora and Outfox will be presented, their functions and possible applications discussed, and experiences from existing alliances shared. The aim is to provide participants with valuable insights into which platforms are best suited to their specific needs.
