Visit of the German Jordanian University at FHWS

fter a delegation from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Finland had visited FHWS in the beginning of May, this week, already our next guests from abroad came to FHWS. On Monday, May 16th, the new President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Dr. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, as well as their Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ralf Roßkopf, visited our university.

FHWS and GJU have had a close cooperation for some years now, meanwhile including a lot of projects in many different fields. During the visit of the President and the Vice President of the GJU, current as well as future projects were discussed, while possibilities for the further development of the strategic partnership were elaborated. At the end, a joint Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership was signed by the two Presidents. From June 3rd until 8th, a delegation of 15 people from FHWS will travel to GJU in order to have an exchange with the colleagues in Jordan and discuss about the next steps of the successful cooperation.
