Summer Reels Contest — #thwssummer

The winter semester may be just getting started, but at THWS, summer is still in full swing! We want you to hold onto those sunny memories and be a part of #thwssummer, where your adventures take the spotlight.

Whether you explored new places, spent time with friends and family, or simply enjoyed the long, relaxing days, now’s your chance to relive those moments and share them with the entire THWS community!

How to Participate:

We’ll compile the best submissions into a vibrant, upbeat highlight reel, reminding everyone that the spirit of summer lives on at THWS, no matter the season. It’s going to be something you don’t want to miss!

Exciting Prizes:

As an extra bonus, we’ll randomly select 5 participants to win exclusive THWS merchandise set, comprising a notebook, luggage strap, pen and water bottle, packed in a THWS tote bag. Share your summer moments, and you might just walk away with some awesome swag!

Submission Guidelines:

• Videos should be of good quality and reflect authentic, personal moments from your summer.
• Ensure that your content is original and showcases your own unique experience.
• By submitting, you agree that your video can be used in the final highlight reel and other THWS media.

Even though the semester is beginning, let’s keep the summer vibes going just a little longer. Share your best memories and help us celebrate the season together!

Legal requirements:

The video must be free of third-party rights; if individuals are depicted, their permission for publication must be provided. The submitter releases THWS from all claims by third parties due to unauthorized use of others' rights upon first request. This includes court and legal defense costs.

Minor individuals must submit a consent form from their legal guardians.

Participants grant THWS a simple, free, unlimited, transferable usage right to the submitted videos for the stated purposes. This includes the right to adapt or make minor modifications to the videos for the specified purposes.

In case of winning, the winning individual agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the advertising media used by THWS. This includes the announcement of the winning person on the THWS website and its social media platforms.

Participants can revoke their declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to terminaleins.hsin[at]thws.de.

If a provision of these conditions of participation is or becomes wholly or partially invalid, this does not affect the validity of these conditions of participation as a whole. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that economically comes closest to the expression and purpose of the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a regulatory gap in these conditions of participation.

Currently enrolled students and visiting students as well as employees of THWS are eligible to participate.
