UNINOVIS Research Internships 2026/2027

The second edition of the UNINOVIS Research Internship Program has launched: Researchers, doctoral students, and research assistants from all alliance partners are invited to participate in an international mobility program aimed at strengthening collaboration, building scientific networks, and opening up new research opportunities throughout Europe.

Who can participate?

The UNINOVIS Research Internship Program is aimed at researchers, doctoral students, research assistants, and administrative staff involved in research and innovation activities.

In some cases, opportunities are also available for other administrative staff (e.g., from international offices). Please check the list of open opportunities. 

Process

  1. Select your desired internship at a UNINOVIS partner institution.
  2. Apply to the hosting researchers and receive a commitment letter upon acceptance.
  3. Apply for financial support through the THWS International Office.
  4. Participate in UNINOVIS research internships during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Funding Opportunities

Participation in research internships within the UNINOVIS network may be funded through Erasmus+ as staff mobility for professional development. Of the available funds for staff mobility, 50% are reserved for activities related to the European University Alliance.
