Strengthening Our Academic Partnership: THWS and SUTE
On 27th April 2026, we had the honor of welcoming a delegation visit from our long-standing partner university, the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE), Kyiv, Ukraine, for discussions with our university management on strengthening and expanding international cooperation. The visit and meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening and expanding our academic partnership.
Expanding areas of cooperation
During the discussions, both university sides explored a range of opportunities to broaden and deepen cooperation across disciplines and formats in the future. Key areas identified include:
- Erasmus+ student exchanges (especially through Faculty of Business and Social Sciences)
- Cooperation within DAAD East-West Dialogue project “Disinformation and AI Law”
- Further long-term, sustainable collaboration including double degrees, online degree programs, UNINOVIS and joint DAAD project applications.
A milestone was set and moving forward together
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Exchange Agreement. This formal step represents a significant milestone in our partnership and provides a clear framework for structured cooperation in the coming years. By strengthening academic exchanges, developing joint programs, and collaborating on innovative projects, we aim to build a long‑term, sustainable partnership that benefits both institutions and contributes positively to international academic collaboration.
