Fulbright Study Grant USA 2027/28 (Scholarship)
General Information
The Fulbright Study Grant enables German students to undertake a funded study period in the United States at Master’s level. The program is administered by Fulbright Germany and supports academically strong and highly engaged students for a full-time study stay at a U.S. higher education institution.
The study period begins in August/September 2027, must be completed full-time and in person in the United States, and must last at least four months.
Target Group
The program is aimed at:
- high-achieving and motivated students
- students interested in a Master’s-level study stay in the USA
- applicants from all academic disciplines (depending on U.S. university offerings)
- individuals with strong academic performance and civic engagement

Scholarship Benefits
The Fulbright Study Grant provides comprehensive financial and non-financial support for the study period in the United States. This includes in particular:
- financial support for the study stay at a U.S. university
- organizational and academic guidance through the Fulbright network
